Mike Royer to speak at Chamber Luncheon

Local television personality Mike Royer will speak at this week’s Chamber Luncheon.

The Aug. 20 luncheon is sponsored by SpectrumReach, formerly Charter Media, which asked Royer to speak.

Royer recently completed a 40-year T.V. news career, during which he spent 35 years in the Birmingham-Hoover market. Royer worked at WTWO in Indiana, WBRC Channel 6 in Birmingham and WVTM Channel 13 in Birmingham. He also serves on the American Cancer Society board of directors and the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind advisory board.

Reservations for the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon can be made online, and cancellations are accepted until the morning of the luncheon. Networking starts at 11:15 a.m., and lunch is served at noon.
