Riverchase Galleria’s classic swan signs have been replaced with a new, more modern look. They are part of an upgrade to signs all around the mall.

Galleria marketing manager Angela Jacks said there are new directional signs along the road that circles the mall, as well as more visible parking deck signs and labels. She believes the new signs will make customers’ shopping trips easier.

“We want their experience at Riverchase Galleria to be the best that it can be,” Jacks said.

In coming months, the Galleria’s interior signs will also be updated after the expected new stores have completed renovations and moved in.

A new guest services kiosk is also being introduced. The kiosk will feature charging stations and eight iPads to look up information on stores and sales. An employee will be there to answer questions, store people’s bags and offer free gift wrapping. Additionally, Jacks said there will be a “concierge” walking around the mall throughout the day with an iPad. The concierge will be able to give directions, answer questions and sell gift cards to shoppers.

“We want our customers to know that our focus is on them,” Jacks said.
