About 20 former Alabama and Auburn football players are expected to gather at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa Friday night for a “Football Feud” game show to raise money for Make-A-Wish Alabama.

The parody game show is scheduled to include former Alabama football players Jay Barker, John Parker Wilson, Wesley Britt, Cory Reamer, Bobby Humphrey, Antonio Langham, Michael Nysewander, Tyrone Prothro, Don Jacobs and Eryk Anders.

On the Auburn team will be Ben Obamanu, Brandon Cox, Chris Gray, Devin Aromashodu, Kendall Simmons, Mike Fuller, Reese Dismukes, Rob Pate, Ronnie Baynes and Will Herring.

The game show will be hosted by the WJOX “Opening Drive” team. The night will be designed as an upscale tailgating party with food, beer, wine, a cash bar, music, silent and live auctions, and opportunities for photos and autographs.

The “Rivals for Wishes” event is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets cost $100 each and are available for purchase at alabama.wish.org/rivals.

The goal is to raise enough money to grant 25 wishes for Alabama children with life-threatening medical conditions in 2016.

“The second annual Rivals for Wishes is sure to be a great time,” said Pam Jones, president of CEO of Make-A-Wish Alabama, in a press release. “The children and families we serve are incredibly special. Most of them have missed out on the innocence and carefreeness of childhood that so many of us take for granted. Having a wish granted really has the power to transform their lives and allows these children and their families to have joy and hope again. We are so grateful to the athletic greats from both teams and to all of our sponsors for coming together to help raise money for the children of Alabama.”
