Businesses named to Top 25 list

Six Hoover businesses are being commemorated by UAB as part of the 2013 UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 Awards. To qualify business must to be owned or operated by UAB alumni for 36 months before 2013, and have revenues of at least $150,000 for the last year. The award program is conducted by the UAB National Alumni Society and the Birmingham Business Journal to recognize and celebrate the success of UAB alumni.

 Here are the Hoover business and UAB alumni being awarded: Susan B. Brouillette, Alacare Home Health & Hospice; Joseph L. Lilley, Jr. CTS, Inc.; Phyllis Hoffman DePiano, Hoffman Media, LLC.; James L. Sanderson, Jr. DMD, James L. Sanderson, Jr. DMD, LLC.; Steve M. Foster, Therapy South; and David W. Brasfield, TriNovus.

The winners will be recognized at an awards luncheon March 8.
