Bass Fishing Tournament returns next month
The Hoover Parks and Recreation Foundation will host the 14th annual Bass Fishing Tournament at Higgins Ferry Launch at Lake Mitchell on Friday, May 2. The tournament begins with a 5:30 a.m. launch (or safe day light) and ends with a weigh in at 3 p.m.
Entry fee is $80 per boat and includes a $10 lunch. Participants must register by 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 1 and there will be no on-site registration the day of the event.
All proceeds benefit the Hoover Parks and Recreation Foundation and the Therapeutic Recreation Programs, which serve individuals with disabilities. For more, visit hooveral.org or call 447-7765.
