Old Navy coming to Galleria

According to news reports, Old Navy has leased a 15,000-square-foot space in the Riverchase Galleria formerly occupied by Forever 21. The clothing retailer could open by Christmas of this year.

Allegedly, Forever 21 is relocating to a larger space in the Galleria, taking the 65,000-square-foot space McRae’s used to inhabit.

Neither public relations officials for the Galleria nor Gap, Inc., the parent company of Old Navy, returned requests for confirmation by deadline.

Old Navy currently operates Birmingham in Homewood’s Wildwood shopping center and at The Summit.
