Lake Crest shopping center sold

The Lake Crest shopping center at 2341 John Hawkins Parkway has a new owner. The 22,000-square-foot shopping center's tenants include Jubilee Joe's, Summit Cleaners, Cajun Cleaver and Silver Lining.

Glenn Ponder of Ponder Properties brokered the sale, with California-based SIGLCP LLC acquiring the property from Lakecrest Plaza LLC. The final purchase price was $3.9 million. The shopping center, originally built in 2004, is currently 95 percent occupied.

Terry Ponder said that Ponder Properties will continue to manage the shopping center property, and no plans for renovations or other changes are in the works.
