Molly Green, a clothing boutique at Riverchase Galleria, will be relocating to the mall’s former White House Black Market location.

White House Black Market was one of several stores to close at the Galleria in January, including Banana Republic, Wet Seal and Body Central. Angela Jacks, the Galleria marketing manager, has said previously that new tenants were interested in all the vacated locations.

However, Jacks had not announced any of the retailers’ names, citing the brands’ privacy policies. Molly Green is the first to be released, and Jacks said others will follow as they move into their locations. Construction facades are already in place in many of the vacant spaces to keep renovations under wraps.

Anna Miller, who owns Molly Green with her sister Brittany Hartwell, said they are relocating because they want to expand the store. Miller said the expansion will give them the opportunity to add a new denim line and other new inventory. She described Molly Green’s clothing style as “eclectic” and “very boho.”

The new space will also include more fitting rooms. Miller is excited about this, as the two fitting rooms in their current shop often have a line of waiting customers.

“I think it will improve just because we’ll have more inventory, more sales associates on the floor at all times and more fitting rooms,” Miller said.

Molly Green plans to have its grand opening in the new location on March 1.
