SPHS tennis champs
In April, Kendal Holladay and Daryn Ellison won the Alabama State 6A Championship for tennis doubles. The tournament was held in Mobile and the team defeated Opelika, Decatur, Mountain Brook, Huntsville and Vestavia to claim the number one spot in the state. Ellison is a freshman at Spain Park High School and Holladay is a sophomore at Spain Park High School. They were both undefeated all season. Their team coach is Amber Lewis.
