A game winning, walk-off overtime field goal lifted Enterprise to a thrilling 30-27 victory over Spain Park in the first round of the state playoffs.
Despite rolling over Enterprise for 431 yards of total offense, the Jaguars were unable to overcome five turnovers.
Spain Park quarterback Mason Duke led the charge with 300 yards passing and four touchdowns on 17 of 33 passing. Running back Otis Harris concluded his outstanding 2013 campaign with 122 yards on 19 carries.
Despite the disappointing loss, the Jaguars enjoyed one of the great seasons in school history. The year brought their first 8-0 start in school history, a classic win over Prattville, and great individual performances.
