The Hoover Board of Education has rescheduled its regular meeting for July and possibly for August, school board President Stephen Presley said.
The July meeting, originally scheduled for July 11, had been moved to July 18 but now has been rescheduled again — to July 19. The meeting was first moved because of some scheduling conflicts for board members and moved again once school officials realized the new date would conflict with a Hoover City Council meeting, Presley said.
The August meeting, originally scheduled for Aug. 8, was reset to Aug. 15 due to board member schedules, but Presley said he's re-evaluating the August meeting date because the Hoover City Council is meeting on Aug. 15 as well.
He hopes to nail down a final meeting date for August soon, he said.
The July and August meetings both are currently scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. at the Farr Administration Building at 2810 Metropolitan Way.
