Rain slowed the visitors on Saturday, but they returned to the Moss Rock Festival in full force on Sunday.
The festival at the Preserve was crowded with shoppers and vendors selling art, crafts, food and services. Most of the products were handmade locally, including pies, sculptures, illustrations and pottery. Several local food trucks were also set up, complementing the Preserve's Vecchia Pizzeria and The Boot for dining options.
Children got the chance to try out a rope course set up by Boy Scouts, make music with buckets and other items and hold parrots brought by local bird owners. There was also a beer garden with draughts from local breweries and the Sweetery, which offered tastes of pie, cupcakes, candies and flavored popcorn.
Jonathan Harris and his wife Sarah were vendors at the festival, selling illustrations based on famous movies and TV shows. They were first-time participants and said they had enjoyed meeting the attendees and seeing the products other vendors were selling. Jonathan said he was interested in attending again next year.
"It's been pretty fun. There's a lot of people," Jonathan Harris said, noting that Saturday had been slower due to weather. "Also the area's really nice too."
