This Thursday night, community members can eat at the Riverchase Moe’s Southwest Grill to help out Deer Valley residents Jeanna and Jay Sims.
The Sims family’s 2-year-old son Mason died on Friday, Jan. 29 after a battle with many health issues. Birmingham Area Mothers of Multiples is holding a percentage night to benefit the Sims family, including Mason’s twin brother Gray and his two older siblings, on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 5 to 9 p.m.
BAMOM will donate 10 percent of sales from 5 to 9 p.m. to the Sims family to help with medical bills and funeral costs. Receipts from drive-thru, to-go and dine-in as well as gift card purchases can be turned in to go toward sales.
