The stage is set in the center court at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, Ala., ready for the Christmas lighting ceremony scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, 2015.
The Riverchase Galleria’s annual Christmas lighting ceremony is scheduled for Friday night.
The Alabama Dance Academy will kick off the entertainment portion of the night at 5 p.m. in the food court and center atrium area, followed by J LaRa’v at 5:30 p.m. and the Showstoppers Trio at 6:15 p.m.
The actual lighting ceremony is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Santa Claus is supposed to arrive to begin his daily visits and photos with children at the mall. Hoover Mayor Gary Ivey and NBC 13 news anchor Brooke Smith are the emcees for the event.
