Three stores are opening at Riverchase Galleria this weekend, and more construction and updates are underway.
Flip Flop Shop, a Georgia-based retailer specializing in shoes, opens near Von Maur this weekend. Garage, a clothing store for tween and teen girls, will open on Saturday. Its store is near the Build-a-Bear on the first level of the Galleria.
Locally-owned Lily Magnolia Boutique is already open, but its grand opening will be on Saturday. The store sells merchandise that is made in Alabama and is located in center court on the lower level.
Two stores are under initial construction: Kirkland’s and Adore Cosmetics. Kirkland’s is set to open its 7,816-square-foot store before the end of the year, located near Macy’s on the lower level. Adore Cosmetics is opening a 1,037-square-foot store in late August, near the Forever 21.
Mountain High Outfitters is temporarily located on level two and is expanding its existing store from 2,352 square feet to 5,865 square feet. The expansion will be completed sometime this fall. Great American Cookie Company on the second level is also undergoing a mini-remodel, said Galleria marketing manager Angela Jacks. The remodel will bring in a new look.
“There are a number of exciting new merchants coming to Riverchase Galleria,” Jacks said. “These new and expanding retails stores demonstrate our commitment to providing our visitors with the best possible shopping experience.”
