Village at Lee Branch
The Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission is considering a special use request at The Village At Lee Branch.
The Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission is set to discuss a proposed two proposed subdivisions in Ross Bridge and three proposed subdivisions at Lake Cyrus at its Monday, Aug. 10 meeting.
Jonathan Belcher, president at Signature Homes, is requesting preliminary plat approval for a proposed 35-lot subdivision in Ross Bridge. The lot is owned by Ross Bridge K, LLC and is zoned as a planned single family district. Scott Rohrer of Signature Homes is requesting final plat approve for Sawyer Trail, formerly Ross Bridge Cottages, which includes 16 lots and one pool lot. This area is also zoned as a single family district.
Rohrer is also requesting final plat approval for a resurvey of two lots at Lake Cyrus. The resurvey is to create a storm easement.
Final plat approval for subdivisions at Lake Cyrus will also be discussed at the meeting. One is a proposed nine-lot subdivision and the other is a 25-lot subdivision. Both are zoned as planned single family districts.
Other upcoming business for the commission includes:
- Consideration of a conditional use request for the Christian Pentecostal Church off of Lorna Road.
- Consideration of a special use request for a Freddy’s Frozen Custard at The Village at Lee Branch.
- Consideration of a rezoning request for 2117 Chapel Hill Road from neighborhood shopping district to single family district.
- Consideration of a zoning change from planned office to planned single family district at 1600 Lake Cyrus Club Drive.
