The Hoover Public Library is open for trick-or-treaters all day Friday during library hours, which are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Children are invited to visit employee work stations throughout the library to receive candy on Halloween and are encouraged to wear their costumes.
Some library staff likely will be dressed up in costumes as well.
