Bluff Park Fire
An abandoned building in Bluff Park caught fire on July 8.
Hoover firefighters were on the scene Wednesday evening after an apparently abandoned house in the woods of Bluff Park caught fire.
Fire Department Public Information Officer Rusty Lowe said the building is located in the 700 block of Valley Street, near Bluff Park United Methodist Church.
Crews were fighting the blaze, led by Chief of Operations Ben Allison and Command One Battalion Chief James McAdams. At this time, the cause of the blaze is undetermined.
The fire has been extinguished, but the home is a complete loss.
