The Birmingham Children's Theatre 2130 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. , Hoover, Alabama 35203
Birmingham Children's Theatre is excited to bring a musical adaptation of “The Little
Engine that Could” to it’s WeeFolks stage at the BJCC, August 30 - September 17.
Acclaimed BCT playwright, Jean Pierce, adapted the classic children’s book to specifically reach preschool
age children through music, dancing, and age appropriate life lessons. This is the story of a little engine who overcame her fears to accomplish something no one believed she could do. Filled with wonderful music written by the talented Jay Tummenello, this play is sure to speak to all children of all ages.
Public Performances are Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; September 3, 10 & 17th. Tickets are $15 for
adults and $10 for children. Visit www.bct123.org to purchase.
