Lecture on the Rohingya Genocide

Join us for a lecture on the Rohingya Refugee Crisis, which is being sponsored by the UAB Institute of Human Rights and the Birmingham Islamic Society Interfaith Human Rights Committee, on November 13, at 6:30 pm at the UAB's Edge of Chaos (4th Floor Lister Hill Library, 1700 University Boulevard). The speaker will be Dr. Wakar Uddin, PhD. Dr. Uddin is a Professor of Plant Sciences at Pennsylvania State University, and also the Director General of the Arakan Rohingya Union, and Founding Chairman of the Burmese Rohingya Association of North America. He is also President of Muslim Aid America. The program is free and open to the public and should be engaging and informative!
