Take a trip back in time to rediscover the culture and contributions of Native Alabamians at Whispers From The Past at Aldridge Gardens.
Aldridge Gardens cancelled its upcoming Whispers from the Past event scheduled for Sunday, April 6. The festival has been rescheduled for the fall.
"We are disappointed to announce that because of the high probability of rain on Sunday, we have had to cancel Whispers from the Past," aldridgegardens.com reads. "We have rescheduled the event for Sunday, October 5. Mark your calendars now!"
Whispers from the Past, a celebration of Native Alabamians, presents Native American life through cooking demonstrations, hunting weapons and activities such as leaf pounding, beading, corn grinding and gourd painting.
