Hoover High’s football Fan Day is this Sunday, Aug. 17 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Riverchase Galleria.
The Buccaneers varsity and junior varsity will stage a Buc Walk into the food court at the Galleria and will then be available for photos and autographs.
The Buccaneer band and cheerleaders will also be there to help provide a festive atmosphere.
Football posters and schedule magnets will be handed out.
Hoover High, the top-ranked Class 7A team in the state and a contender for national championship honors, opens the football season at home versus Miami Central High of Florida on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. in a game that will be televised on ESPN.
