0313 Pen Women Show Opening
Former Pen Women president Mimi Jackson of Hoover and current president Caroline Clark at the Pen Women Show Opening.
The Opening of the Annual Birmingham Pen Women's Art Show was held at the Soon Bok Sellers Gallery at Artists on the Bluff in Bluff Park. Twenty-four artists have work represented in the exhibit. The festive reception was catered by the staff of Artists on the Bluff. The Show will run through Feb 26.
Those in the crowd included: Mary Anne and Frank Kohn, Sandra and Mike Davis, Theresa and Pete Peterson, Ellen and Tom Justice, Barbara and Mike Prior, Charlotte Patton, Nina Cranor, Jean Holt, Mary and Emma Lembke, Lea Pennington, Vadie Honea, John and Pat Dicas, Michael Davis Jr. Family, Charles and Winnie Cooper, Joyce Byrd and son Richard Byrd, Mike and Charlotte Holder, Barbara Mitchell, and Rollina Oglesbay.
Winnie Cooper, Hoover, and Sandra Davis were co-chairs of the Show. Those on the Show committee were Mary Anne Kohn, Ellen Justice, Mimi Jackson, and Bettye Howell. Caroline Clark is the current Birmingham Pen Women President.
