The Hoover Met will undergo renovations later this year.
Motor Vehicle Registrations at the Hoover Met location will be temporarily suspended during the upcoming SEC baseball tournament. Operations will be temporarily suspended beginning Friday, May 15 through Tuesday, May 26 in order to accommodate the large crowds attending this important event. Normal operations will resume on Wednesday, May 27.
The temporary suspension of operations relates to the Hoover Met location only and all other service centers will be open for normal operations. Jefferson County officials would like to remind all citizens that motor vehicle registrations may be conveniently renewed via on-line through the County’s "Express Lane" at tagit.jccal.org, via mail renewal, or by visiting one of the other three service centers located in Birmingham, Bessemer and Center Point.
