YES to the lottery

It is time for Alabama to enter the modern era (of the lottery), unless we just want to just sick back and watch as all the lottery dollars in Alabama flow out this State and into others, which is what is happening to the boon of other states budgets. If Southern baptist churches are what that has prevented the lottery here, as Mr. Drake's reported quote above implies, then lets give them a choice: a lottery or a tax on those churches that would equal the income this state would get from a lottery, and I bet they would come around real quick in favor of the lottery.
