Three local charities will receive $75,000 as the result of the efforts from the Birmingham Automobile Dealers Association and the 2016 Alabama Auto Show. Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham, The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs and King’s Home each will receive $25,000.
The presentation will take place Tuesday, June 28th at 11 a.m. in the 1st floor community room at Jefferson State Community College (Shelby Hoover Campus) located at 4600 Valleydale Road, Birmingham, AL 35242.
“One mission of the Birmingham Automobile Dealers Association is to contribute to children’s organizations in our community,” said Jennifer Whisenant, executive director of BADA. “We are so pleased to be associated with these three charities, and happy to have the opportunity to make a contribution to them as a result of our recent Alabama Auto Show.”
The BADA has supported more than 50 organizations throughout Jefferson & Shelby counties through charitable organizations and activities that assist children and youth. Donations have exceeded more than $1 million in cash donations and other efforts.
