Organic Harvest Market, Café and Nutrition Center has announced that it will open a second location in the to-be-built Village at Brock’s Gap, to be located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Trace Crossings Parkway and Brock’s Gap Parkway. This will be the store’s second Hoover location. Its first location is on U.S. 31 in Hoover.
Dreamland BBQ will open a restaurant in the former Chili’s location, 101 Inverness Corners.
Relocations and Renovations
Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center moved to a new location on July 11 inside St. Vincent’s One Nineteen, 7191 Cahaba Valley Road.
GiGi’s Cupcakes, 4745 Chace Circle, Suite 121, is under the new ownership of Jason and Cheryl Vinyard.

Dr. Weily Soong of Alabama Allergy & Asthma Center, 2100 Data Park Drive, and Dr. John Anderson of sister company Clinical Research Center of Alabama, were presented with the Class of 2016 – Top 25 Award for Excellence in Business by the UAB National Alumni Society on June 24. The Top 25 award program is designed to identify, recognize and celebrate the success of alumni business leaders. Each company must have been founded, owned or managed (most senior leadership team or regional/division leadership team) by a UAB alumnus/alumna.
